In Palazzolo, even those who never met him know that the Civic Library is named after Giacinto Ubaldo Lanfranchi, not only in commemoration of his generous patronage, but as a testimonial to the great love that he always had for books, especially old ones dating back to the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. Working alongside his brother for the company was his commitment and daily duty, which he did, with great rigour, intelligence and passion, typical of the born industrialist who understands how to manage his heritage. He shared this trait with the rest of the Lanfranchi family which, from the first generation until the present day, have remained united by the common bond of loyalty and discipline.
